Ed & Louise’s Story

When Ed and Louise visited us, they knew they liked the style and quality of the Camper King conversions, but they preferred to go down the route of creating their own bespoke conversion.  After much discussion we set about locating their ideal donor van.   They preferred a white van as they would be travelling in warmer climates than the UK.  They wanted a 150 bhp as they wanted the 6th gear for the longer trips involved and with a Highline Transporter as a donor vehicle, they would get a specification that included air conditioning and cruise control.

Ed and Louise chose a stylish interior of seagrass furniture, with the upholstery to have a matching diamond double stitch in the same colour, all offset with a multistripe floor.  It took just 5 weeks for their van to be completed.  We loved their combination of choices when the van arrived and they were very pleased with it.

Louise said one of their first trips out will be local; to see the Antony Gormley sculptures at Crosby Beach near Southport.  They do have plans to go much farther afield in the van however as they are aiming to travel to one of their favourite places – Tuscany in Italy.   Along with their two gorgeous little dogs, we’re sure they will have the time of their lives exploring in their new camper van.
