Read Alex’s Story
We had great fun helping Alex through the process of purchasing his own bespoke campervan conversion. Alex wanted a conversion carried out on a nearly new Long Wheel Base VW Transporter and we sourced a couple of vehicles which met his requirements, including a tailgate rather than barn doors at the rear. We located a Chestnut Brown van, and one in Indian Grey; after much family debate, they decided to opt for the brown van.
Alex went for white gloss furniture, perfectly fresh to match a brown plank floor and cream and brown Mayfair upholstery. This luxurious upholstery has a stitched logo and Alex asked for it to be changed to another word, making the van truly bespoke. All other optional extras were discussed and Alex added a brand new Pioneer radio/screen/carplay system, with the addition of 2 extra speakers in the rear of the van. The family also wanted a single swivel ‘Captains Chair’ with armrests, instead of a double seat, solar panels, diesel heater, chrome side bars and a wind out sunshade.
We think Alex has covered all the bases there and he was extremely pleased with his new campervan. Within a few days, the family were visiting a local music festival in the van and then some longer holidays are planned for the rest of the summer.
Have fun in the van Alex and family!
